Syracuse, N.Y. - Brett Stern's (Lockport, N.Y./Newfane/Duquense) goal, assisted by Brandon Mimas (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/UAlbany), scored against the visiting Southern Connecticut State University Owls in the 11th minute to put the Le Moyne College men's soccer team up 1-0 at Ted Grant Field during their regular season finale match on November 3, a game that resulted in a 3-0 Dolphins victory, has been selected as the Le Moyne College Play of the Week, Presented by Sodexo, for the week ending on November 7.

With 33:23 remaining in the first half of Le Moyne's final match of the 2021 regular season against Southern Connecticut State, redshirt-junior midfielder Tom Henne (Hamburg, Germany/Gymnasium Buckhorn) dribbled the ball into the right side of the Dolphins attacking third and knocked a pass to Mimas on the right wing. Mimas' first touch was a cross whipped into the box on the ground. Stern sprinted from the top of the 18-yard box to the edge of the 6-yard box, ran past the man marking him, got to the ball first and blasted it into the back of the net on his first touch from six yards out. The ball from Mimas was immaculate, one of two assists for the senior forward on the day, and Stern's redirection was taken with such pace that there was nothing Southern Connecticut State goalkeeper Aren Seeger could do to stop it. The ball rippled the back of the net to give Stern his second goal of the season and provide the Dolphins with an early 1-0 lead.
