Syracuse, N.Y. – A game winning goal scored by sophomore defender Andrew Piccolo (Toronto, Ontario/Michael Power-St. Joseph) against Saint Bonaventure has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.


 
With the score knotted at 1-1, the Dolphins and Bonnies were both pushing for a go-ahead goal. St. Bonaventure regained possession in their own defensive third, looking to counter the opposite direction.
 
A defender for the Bonnies played a pass through the middle of the field, with Piccolo being the first to react. He intercepted the pass, before taking a few touches and firing a curling shot with his right foot, bouncing off the right post and finding the back of the net to give the 'Phins a 2-1 advantage over the Bonnies.
 
His goal was the deciding factor as Le Moyne went on to win the match 2-1 for its first win of the season.
