South Easton, Mass. – Le Moyne College freshman midfielder Sarah Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Hutchings, who is the first Dolphin freshman to earn rookie of the week honors since Emily Altland on April 17, 2018, collected the accolades after registering a career-high five points on a career-best four goals (on four shots) and one assist in third-ranked Le Moyne's 23-6 win over Southern Connecticut State in the regular season finale on Wednesday.

Through 12 games, including a pair of starts, Hutchings has 15 points on 12 goals and three assists.

Le Moyne (13-0), which defeated New Haven, 17-5, on Monday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the NE10 Championship, hosts third-seeded and 11th-ranked Adelphi University in the NE10 Championship semifinals on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
