Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College graduate student Manuel Righi (Bologna, Italy/IPC Manfredi - ITC Tanari/Concordia (N.Y.)/Universita di Bologna) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Righi, honored by the conference for the second time this year, went 6-0 between singles and doubles in Le Moyne's 3-0 week. Righi opened the week by winning at second singles, 6-1, 6-4, and second doubles, 6-2, against 46th-ranked Queens on Friday. He then was a 6-4, 6-3 winner at first singles and 6-1 at second doubles against Bentley on Saturday. He closed out the week with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at second singles and an 8-2 win at second doubles against Skidmore on Sunday.

Since joining the Dolphins for the second semester, Righi is 11-0 in singles action, including 8-0 at the second spot, and 12-1 in doubles play
 
Le Moyne (14-1, 5-0 NE10) returns to action on Saturday against the University of the Sciences at the Hamlin/Hecht Center on the campus of UPenn at 5:00 p.m.
