Box Score Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's basketball team claimed a 67-49 Northeast-10 Conference victory against Southern New Hampshire University, who began the day tied with Bentley atop the NE10 Standings, on Saturday afternoon on Ted Grant Court.
The Penmen traveled to Syracuse on a 10-game winning streak. Le Moyne shot 8-19 from beyond the arc during the contest and used a big third quarter to establish a 20-point lead over Southern New Hampshire after 30 minutes of action.
The Dolphins benefited from 15 second-chance points which was produced with the help of a combined nine offensive rebounds between senior guard
Lytoya Baker (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) and redshirt-sophomore forward
Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent).
Baker and Roberts both tallied a double-double during the win, which marks the fifth time this season that both players recorded a double-double for the 'Phins during the same game. Baker provided 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds while Roberts contributed 12 points and 10 boards.

Sydney Lusher (Oneida, N.Y./Oneida) scored a game-high 18 points on 7-11 shooting, including 3-6 from three-point land, along with six rebounds, four assists and four steals in 36 minutes played.
Freshman guard
Kaia Goode (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) shot 6-9 from the field, including 2-4 from beyond the arc, and tied her season-high point total with 14 during the NE10 battle. Goode also contributed four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes of action.

Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) knocked down two threes for Le Moyne, and senior guard
Lexi Gruss (Binghamton, N.Y./Binghamton) made another off the bench.
Linnin also recorded four rebounds, one assist, a block and a steal, while sophomore guard
Emily Florvil (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth) tallied four points, three rebounds and a steal off the bench.
Southern New Hampshire senior guard Adriana Timberlake knocked down four three-point field goals for the Penmen and finished with a team-high 15 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds. Le Moyne also forced Timberlake into six turnovers.
Ariana Koivisto was the only other SNHU player to score in double figures with 10 points to go along with 10 points, four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists.
Graduate guard Mia Roy and sophomore forward Sydnie DeVries scored eight points each for the Penmen, and DeVries pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
The Dolphins held a 32-27 lead at halftime, then outscored the Penmen 22-7 during the third period to establish a 20-point lead going into the final quarter.
The Dolphins improve to 11-5 overall, including 6-4 in the NE10 following the win, while SNHU drops to 12-3 overall and 8-2 against NE10 competition. The victory puts Le Moyne in a tie for fourth place in the conference standings alongside AIC. Southern New Hampshire is now tied for second place with Assumption in the Northeast-10 Conference Standings.
With two minutes left in the opening quarter, Gruss threw an entry pass from the left corner into Baker on the left block. Baker missed a contested left-handed layup, but Roberts was there on the other side of the paint to grab the rebound and convert the putback through contact. A foul was called on the play, giving Roberts an and-one opportunity.
With under a minute left in the first quarter, Lusher dribbled the ball across midcourt towards the left wing, and Roberts set her a screen towards her right. Lusher came off the screen hard, but the help defender sagged off, so Lusher stopped and swished a three pointer to give Le Moyne a 16-10 lead.
Timberlake hit a three from the right corner with 0:35 left in the first to make it 16-13 in favor of the Dolphins after 10 minutes of play.
SNHU took a 22-19 lead with 6:59 left in the second period following a layup by Megan Deans, but Le Moyne responded with a 7-0 run. AT the 6:40 mark, Goode was isolated on a SNHU forward at the top of the key, so she made a quick crossover to her left and finished a layup at the left block. With just under 6:00 left in the half, Baker faced up her defender at the free-throw line then crossed to her left, put it between her legs and shifted back to her right, got around her defender and finished a layup on the right block to give the 'Phins a 23-22 lead. Linnin grabbed a defensive rebound under the basket at the 5:41 mark, then Lusher threw a pass ahead for Goode on the left wing. Goode dribbled to the left corner and swung it back to Lusher while Gruss set Linnin a screen on the right side of the floor. Linnin flashed to the top of the key, and Lusher passed her the ball. Linnin caught the pass about five feet behind the three-point line shot the three with a defender in front of her. Linnin's deep three went in to make it 26-22 in favor of the Dolphins.
With 8:05 left in the third quarter, Goode drove from the left wing towards the free-throw line. Roberts posted up in the right side of the paint, and Goode threw her a bounce pass. Roberts powered through her defender and made the layup to give Le Moyne a 39-29 lead.
SNHU shot 3-16 from the field during the third quarter. They scored their first field goal of the period with 8:44 on the clock, and they did not score again until the 4:22 mark.
Le Moyne took ten free throws during the third quarter and made eight of them.
A Roberts putback with 1:38 left in the third put Le Moyne up 18, then SNHU's Mia Roy and Goode both knocked down a long range shot between the 1:30 and 1:00 marks of the period.
With 0:35 left in the third, Goode drove from the right wing towards the foul line, passed it to Roberts on the left block, then Roberts turned towards the hoop and drew a shooting foul. She made both free throws to make it 54-34 after 30 minutes of action.
Timberlake converted a three pointer with 6:47 left in the fourth, then another with 4:04 on the clock to trim SNHU's deficit to 61-45.
Florvil drove to the basket from the left corner with 3:05 left in the game, drew a shooting foul and made both free throws to extend Le Moyne's lead to 63-47.
Koivisto came up with a steal in Le Moyne's backcourt and finished a fastbreak layup to once again make it a 14-point game. Goode broke the SNHU full-court pressure during the next Le Moyne possession then scored a floater with 2:17 remaining to make it 65-49.
For the final basket of the contest, Lusher caught the ball on the right wing and squared up towards the hoop. She shook her defender with a jab step, then quickly went between her legs from left to right, dribbled towards the right block with a defender on her hip, then rose and finished a contested running shot with one foot in the paint to make it 67-49 in favor of the Dolphins.
