Dover, Del. – The start time for the Le Moyne women's soccer team's NEC matchup at Delaware State University on Thursday has been moved to 5:00 p.m.

The match will be played at DSU's Drass Field, and will be streamed on NEC Front Row.

It will be the first ever meeting between Le Moyne and Delaware State in women's soccer.

Delaware State is led by head coach Kortney Rhoades, who is in her eighth season in charge of the program.

The DSU Hornets (0-8) have lost their first three conference games against Howard, Sacred Heart and Saint Francis.

DSU freshman forward Nicole Cargill has scored both of the team's goals this season, while freshman defender Lilly Alexia assisted on Cargill's goal against Rider.

Senior forward Mackenzie Burns, who played all 18 games and led the Hornets in points last season, has not seen any action so far in 2023, while junior defender Thalia Johnson, who led the Hornets in minutes played and tallied two assists as a sophomore in 2022, left the team's season opener against George Washington in the 55th minute and has not returned to the field since.

The Dolphins (2-7-2) are currently 1-2 in NEC play and are most recently coming off a loss at LIU.

Le Moyne earned three points in the conference standings with a 1-0 win at home over Stonehill on September 21.

Sierra Edwards (Greece, N.Y./Hilton/Monroe) scored the winning goal against the Skyhawks off an assist from Hope Adigun (Clay, N.Y./Liverpool). Edwards, who also scored the equalizing goal during a 1-1 draw against Rhode Island on September 3, currently leads the Dolphins in points.

Sophomore defender Jasmina Barhoumi (Worms, Germany/Nelly-Sachs-IGS/D'Youville) and senior midfielder Jenicah Brown (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland/Cazenovia) have both recorded three points so far this season, while junior forward Autumn Edwards (Greece, N.Y./Hilton/Monroe) and sophomore midfielder Hermine Hognerud (Oslo, Norway/Eikeli Videregående Skole) have both scored a goal.

Barhoumi, sophomore midfielder Lindsey LeBlanc (Westminster, Mass./St. Bernard's) and junior defender Brooke Wilson (Rochester, N.Y./Hilton) lead the Dolphins in minutes played and have each started all 11 games so far this season.

Graduate goalkeeper Allison Moreau (Sauquoit, N.Y./Sauquoit Valley) has started 10 games this season for the 'Phins. Her 5.67 saves per game average is third-best among NEC keepers.

Howard and Central Connecticut State are at the top of NEC Standings with nine points each, while Saint Francis, Merrimack and LIU each have six points.

Following Thursday's match at Delaware State, the Dolphins will return to action on October 1 with a home match against NEC foe Wagner College.
