st overall in the women's high jump event as the men's and women's track & field teams finished day one of the 2024-25 Northeast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Capria won the high jump event after marking her collegiate best jump of 5-feet, 5-inches. She also placed 10
th overall in the long jump event, after earning a mark of 16-feet, 11.75-inches. Freshman teammate
Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) placed 3
rd overall in the high jump event after earning a mark of 5-feet, 5-inches.
On the men's side, freshman
Christopher Zajdel (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) placed 5
th overall in the 400m dash after clocking in a time of 50.20, earning him qualification for the finals. Redshirt-junior
Matthew Frisa (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) placed 8
th overall in the 500m dash after running a time of 1:07.06, also earning himself qualification for the finals.
Sophomore
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 7
th overall in the men's 1 mile run after qualifying for the final's with a time of 4:26.17. Senior
Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy) placed 9
th overall in the men's 3000m run after running a time of 8:42.03.
