Easton, Ma. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at day one of the 2025 Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.
On the men's side, redshirt-junior
Matthew Frisa (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) had the most individual success after earning himself an 8
th place finish in the 400m hurdles, qualifying for the finals set to take place tomorrow. Freshman
Christopher Zajdel (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) placed 10
th overall in the 400m event, running a time of 49.23.
The quartet of sophomore
Skylar Gravell (Malone, N.Y./Franklin Academy), sophomore
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool), freshman
Brendan O'Rourke (New Milford, N.J./Bergen Catholic), and senior
Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy) placed 7
th overall in the 4x800m relay after running a time of 7:59.38.
In the field events, freshman
Trevon Walker (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed 13
th overall in the long jump event, earning himself a distance of 20-feet, 9.50-inches. Junior
Adam Cuyler (Phoenix, N.Y/C.W.Baker) placed 15
th overall in the shot put event, throwing a distance of 42-feet, 3.75-inches.
On the women's side, freshman
Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) had the most individual success, placing 7
th overall in the 400m hurdles. Her time of 1:06.83 earned herself qualification for the finals taking place tomorrow. Sophomore
Amanda Lowenguth (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) placed 13
th overall after running a time of 1:10.44.
Freshman
Sara Edmonson (Leonardsville, N.Y./Mount Markham) placed 15
th overall in the 100m hurdles, running a time of 16.79. Sophomore
Rosalie Vincent (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) placed 14
th overall in the 200m event, clocking in with a time of 26.15.

Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville), freshman
Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker), sophomore
Stephanie James (Schenectady, N.Y./Scotia/Glenville/Saint Rose), and

th overall in the 4x800m relay, running a time of 10:03.00.
Day two of the 2025 Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships are slated to begin tomorrow, as the field events will start at 9:30 a.m., and the track events beginning at 12:00 p.m.
