MEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SET FOUR PROGRAM RECORDS AT THE 2025 JOHN THOMAS TERRIER CLASSIC ON SATURDAY

Boston, Mass - The Le Moyne College men's track & field team competed at the 2025 John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday.

Freshman Christopher Zajdel (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) set a program record in the men's 400m open dash for the second week in a row, after placing 6th overall out of 106 participants.

Redshirt-junior Matthew Frisa (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) broke his own program record in the men's 500m event after placing 22nd overall out of 35 participants, earning himself a time of 1:06.65. His previous record was set at the 2024 IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 1st, 2024 after running a time of 1:07.76.

Freshman Brendan O'Rourke (New Milford, N.J./Bergen Catholic) set a program record in the men's 1000m event after placing 40th overall out of 62 participants and clocking in with a time of 2:35.08.

The quartet of sophomore Christopher Moser (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee), sophomore Skylar Gravell (Malone, N.Y./Franklin Academy), junior Jordan Johnson (Plainfield, N.J./Timothy Christian School), and Christopher Zajdel set a program record in the men's 4x400 relay, placing 13th overall out of 34 teams with a time of 3:20.86.

Sophomore Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) set a personal record in the men's Mile event, placing 178th overall out of 303 participants, clocking in with a time of 4:23.28.

Freshman Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) placed 177th out of 272 participants in the men's 3000m event, running a time of 8:47.49. Sophomore Tyler Cooper (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Suffern) improved his personal best in the 3000m by sixteen seconds, running a time of 8:50.59 and placing 186th overall.

Sophomore Joseph Doran (Camden, N.Y./Camden) placed 28th out of 32 participants in the men's weight throw event, earning himself a distance of 41-feet, 9.25-inches.

The Dolphins are back in action on Friday as they head to Brockport, N.Y. to compete in the Brockport Multi.
