Syracuse, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field team open their season at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C., as the full 2025 outdoor track & field schedule has been announced.
"I'm very excited for the start of the new season," said head coach
Robin Wheeless. "We have an excellent meet schedule this spring. Over spring break we will be heading to Myrtle Beach. It's a chance to train but also compete earlier than we have before. The next week we head to Lafayette College where we will see new competition and hopefully enjoy some warmer weather. Later in the season, we will be taking some of the team to Bucknell and later Buffalo."
The Dolphins found success in many ways as they wrapped up their indoor season a few weeks ago, with almost every student-athlete improving personal bests. Le
Moyne had two podium finishes in the 2024-25 Northeast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships for the first time since the transition to Division I, also the first medalists in the women's program history. The '
Phins also set several program records throughout the season in sprint, mid-distance, distance, and field events.
