A two-sport student-athlete, Amanda Daniels '03 is the second member of the women's lacrosse program and eighth member of the women's soccer program to be elected to the Gold Wave Hall of Fame. A four-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference First Team selection for the women's lacrosse team, Daniels tallied 190 points on 164 goals and 26 assists over 64 games played, while adding 151 ground balls, 80 draw controls and 47 caused turnovers. She led the Dolphins to consecutive MAAC Championships and NCAA Division I tournament berths as a junior and senior. At the completion of her career, she held the program's records for goals and points, while she currently ranks third in goals and ninth in points. Additionally, she is tied for sixth in career ground balls with 151. She is the only player in the program's history to score at least 40 goals in a season three times and is one of only two players to lead the team in goals three times. With her 47th of 49 goals as a junior in 2002, she became the program's career goals scored leader, a spot she held until the 2007 season, while she became the program's career points leader, another spot she held until 2007, with her 35th of 38 points as a senior in 2003. A starter in 52 of 67 games on the soccer field, Daniels registered 35 points on 15 goals and five assists.
