After Syracuse University folded its baseball program, Simone made sure that Le Moyne would not have to follow suit.
He reached out to athletics director Tom Niland and offered the support of the Syracuse Chiefs organization.
Any time Le Moyne's baseball program needed equipment, a facility, or even wanted to schedule a game against the Triple-A squad, Simone delivered.
