Hall of Fame
One of the most decorated student-athletes in the program's history, Ricky Chidsey is the third member of the men's swimming and diving program to be elected to the Hall of Fame. An all-American each of his four years, Chidsey earned a total of 10 all-America honors during his time on the Heights, including first team recognition in his final collegiate race. In his first career appearance at the NCAA Championships as a freshman, he placed 13th in the 200-yard backstroke. He was also part of Le Moyne's first three relay teams to place at the national championships as the 200-yard freestyle relay placed 12th, the 200-yard medley relay finished 15th and the 400-yard medley relay touched 16th. As a sophomore, he placed 10th in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 200-yard backstroke. The following year, he was 11th in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 200-yard backstroke. He picked up first team all-America honors in his final collegiate event by placing eighth in the 200-yard backstroke, while also earning honorable mention all-America recognition the day before by finishing 12th in the 100-yard backstroke. The Northeast-10 Conference Swimming Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and senior and the NE10 Freshman of the Year in 2005-06, Chidsey was an 11-time Northeast-10 Conference champion individually and was part of nine relay victories for 20 total NE10 gold medals. A medalist in every NE10 Championship event he entered over this four years (27 events), he won four silvers individually and two via relays, while claiming one individual bronze medal. The 2009 Rev. J. J. O'Brien Senior Achievement Award recipient, he still holds two individual school records, three relay records, one individual pool record and two relay pool records.
