Susan Reilly '88 - Class of 2012

Susan Reilly, arriving to Le Moyne from Pittsford, New York, joined the women’s soccer team in only its 4th season of existence. Known to be a dynamic defender, the Dolphins turned to Reilly when they needed a goalie heading into the 1985 season. Three seasons later, Reilly helped the Dolphins to the one of the best seasons in the program’s young history and established herself as one of the best goalkeepers school history. Her eight shutouts and 454 saves remain atop the record books, ranking second and third all-time respectively. Following graduation, Reilly wasn’t done helping the Dolphins. From 1990 to 1997, she served as an assistant coach and helped Le Moyne to their best season in program history in 1993 finishing 12-4-1 and a #4 national ranking. Today, Reilly continues teaching soccer as the head coach of the varsity girls soccer team at Tully High School, leading the team a Regional Championship in 2001. Tonight, we are proud to induct Sue Reilly, class of 1988 into the Le Moyne College Athletics Hall of Fame.
