The team's leading scorer in her two years on the Heights, Erica Geremia '16 is just the fifth member of the women's lacrosse program to be elected to the Gold Wave Hall of Fame. A two-time IWLCA Division II All-America First Team selection, she tallied 230 points on 126 goals and 104 assists, while adding 49 ground balls, 27 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers over 43 games. She is the program's leader in career points per game (5.35) by almost one whole point and assists per game (2.42) and is second in goals per game (2.93). At the time of her graduation, she was second on the program's career leaderboard in total assists, fourth in total points and ninth in goals scored. She currently ranks third in assists, seventh in points and 14th in goals. After transferring to the College from SUNY Cortland, where she was a two-time All-America First Team selection and the DIII Attacker of the Year, she collected the honors again in her first season at the Division II level as well as collecting Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year, NE10 All-Conference First Team, IWLCA North Region First Team and ECAC All-Star First Team honors after tallying 121 points on 67 goals and 54 assists as a starter in all 22 games, while recording 27 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. Her 121 points are the most in one season in the program's history, while her 67 goals and 54 assists were the second-most at the time. She became the first Dolphin in the program's history to record 100 points during the regular season. The only Division II player selected as a Tewaaraton Award nominee, she led the nation in total points and was fourth in points per game (5.50), sixth in assists, 11th in goals and 14th in assists per game (2.45). She closed out her career with her fourth straight IWLCA All-America First Team honors and was also tabbed to the NE10 All-Conference First Team and IWLCA North Region First Team after leading the Dolphins to their second straight NCAA semifinals with 109 points on team-highs of 59 goals and 50 assists to go with 22 draw controls, 22 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. Her 109 points are the second-most in a season in the program's history, trailing only her 121 from 2015, while her 50 assists are the third-most and her 59 goals are the 12th-most (sixth-most at the time). She ranked second in the nation in points and was sixth in points per game (5.19). She ranked seventh in the nation in assists and 16th in assists per game (2.5). Geremia netted the game-winning goal in 15 contests in her two seasons, the most by a Dolphin in a two-year period. Following each of her years, she was named the Athletic Department's Female Athlete of the Year.
